After recently moving to Yorkshire with my boyfriend, we've been doing a lot of exploring seeing as we're not from round these parts. When checking out so many cute, picturesque places, I want to feel comfortable whilst still looking somewhat smart. Ripped denim is everywhere at the moment and, whether you do a DIY job or buy your shredded styles, I'm loving it. Some liberal lacerations add edge and interest to otherwise same-y looks.
A high-street hero, Topshop have got torn togs nailed and I've picked up two pairs of their much coveted Jamie jeans, one in an off-black and one with an acid wash effect. This time round, I've coupled my slashed slacks with a laid-back, satin shirt from Zara and a pair of pretty, ultra-feminine shoes from Sainsbury's, would you believe. You'll just have to excuse those blister patches. They aren't my new, must-have accessory, but they were necessary thanks to a rather uncomfortable pair of heels worn the night before, that I'm clearly yet to break in.
