affordable online shopping tips advice hacks how to

I don't know about you, but I have seriously upped my online shopping habit since the COVID-19 lockdown has left me with a lot more time on my hands. Whether purchasing loungewear pieces for keeping comfortable at home or summer items ready for when we can finally get our glad rags on for more than a trip to the supermarket, I've been looking for more affordable shopping options that don't compromise on quality. So, if you're thinking of revamping your wardrobe or fancy treating yourself without breaking the bank, I thought I'd share with you my top places to shop for clothing that can be purchased for a little less.

There are an amazing amount of online sales happening at the moment, which is always music to my ears when shopping. One of my favourite stores for shopping a variety of top quality brands is John Lewis. They currently have 30% off a top notch range of clothing and accessories from brands such as Chloe, Whistles and Club Monaco. I love being able to shop such a plethora of labels all in one place and John Lewis cater for such a wide range of clothing tastes that you're bound to find something you love at a knockdown price!

If you're wanting to add some show-stopping pieces to your wardrobe, then look no further than the Revolve sale. They have an incredible selection of flirty summer dresses, cute bikinis and stunning jumpsuits on offer, all of which will take your summer wardrobe from 0 to 100 in no time. Despite being an American store, the prices shown on the website are all inclusive of duties and VAT, meaning there are no nasty surprises when your parcel arrives from across the pond!

One of my all-time favourite high-street brands, Reiss, also has a whopping 50% off sale running at the moment. The huge sale features a beautiful range of classic, chic pieces that can be worn season after season, along with more fun, on-trend pieces which will bag you a ton of compliments on that first evening out after lockdown. With such a massive discount on selected pieces, it's impossible to resist!

Another great way to save money when shopping during lockdown and beyond is via pay weekly catalogues. Lots of big-name brands such as Bon Prix, La Redoute and JD Williams have pay weekly catalogues to shop from, all of which allow you to spread out the cost of your purchase over time, rather than paying in one lump sum. Not only do they have a range of catalogues aimed at plus and petite sizing, but they also have catalogues especially made with mature women in mind. Plus, they offer a number of credit options to suit all needs.
