The time to shun darker, vampy nails for lighter and brighter tones is fast approaching. Spring is finally in our sights and the weather seems to be taking a turn for the better (touch wood), but my nails are already in predictable pastel mode. Here are the five polishes I've been wearing in rotation, for Spring.
Please don't think I'm throwing shade at By Terry from the title of this post. On the contrary. Everyone knows that the By Terry Ombre Blackstars are the creme de la creme when it comes to eyeshadow sticks and I concur, but I'm rather bored of hearing about them. Valentine's Day. For Spring, Bourjois have released a new version of their Rouge Editions, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Lacque Lip Lacquers. After being impressed by the matte formulation, I had high hopes for these glossy alternatives. Promising a mirror-like shine and intense colour in a moisturising, non-sticky formula, I was excited to get my hands on Bourjois' new additions. Out of the eight shades on offer, ranging from subtle nudes to vibrant brights, I picked up three.
