Following in the footsteps of the Korean, skincare-obsessed beauty market, sheet masks have now become all the rage here in the UK. Before now, I hadn't really sampled many of these popular treatments, so when the Very Radiant Gift Set* landed on my doorstep from MaskerAide, I couldn't wait to test them out!
February was just another cold, miserable month for me, up until my boyfriend and I hopped on a plane and headed to Dubai. Apologies for my lack of posts recently; I thought I'd have a little break and switch off from the Internet as much as possible, whilst on holiday. Regular uploading has now resumed. Thanks to my time in the sunshine, last month's favourites include some holiday-only additions, which wouldn't usually appear on the blog until May, at least.
If you read my blog often, then you'll know just how bloomin' obsessed I am with Oskia's products; in my eyes, they can do no wrong. For years, I've been praying for their skincare to be stocked in-store at Space NK and, as soon as I heard the time had finally come, I practically sprinted there. As I've been trying to cut back on my spending recently, I restrained myself and only picked up the Oskia Renaissance Brightening & Resurfacing Face Mask, but I can't guarantee I won't be back to purchase more ASAP. Everything I've tried from the brand, I've loved and the most recent addition to my skincare stocks is even more amazing than I expected.
Being a fan of the first GlamGlow Tingling Exfoliating Mud Mask, when I heard the brand had extended the range and released a version catering for those with dehydrated skin, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a pot. It took me a while to take the plunge and purchase the GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment and I'm only disappointed that I didn't pick it up sooner!
I have a confession to make. Before buying and first using Michael Todd's Pumpkin Nutrient Rich Facial Mask, I hadn't bothered to read up about it. Clearly, I'd clapped eyes on the 'nutrient-rich' bit and I was sold. Neglecting to do my research before diving into use, I expected my skin to be enveloped in a comforting, nourishing cuddle. Wow, did I get a shock when I liberally slathered this all over my face.
After hearing only positive reviews of the Borghese Fango Active Mud Mask, I had wanted to try it out for a good while. Last Summer, on a trip to New York, I managed to get my mitts on it. Half a year later, I finally squeezed the last drop out of the tube and then the sensible side of my brain decided to use up some of the other clay masks I had hoarded away, before forking out for this one again. Having only just recently repurchased, I thought a review was well overdue. So, here's my two cents to throw into the mix.

Finally, the weather has started to heat up, here in the UK. The products that have been featuring heavily on my dressing table recently, have definitely become more Summer appropriate. This favourites post includes lotions and potions that are helping me to get prepped for flashing a bit more flesh and to go au naturel, in the makeup and hair department.

What with all the festivities, parties and seeing lots of people that you might not see too often, December is a month that is all about wanting to look your best. With that in mind, the products that I was loving last month were all about getting me party ready and keeping me that way, right through the entire month.
At this time of year, I always notice an increase in the amount of parties and get togethers there are, as Christmas gets ever closer. With this in mind during November, I've been focusing on really getting myself looking and feeling as good as possible. Pampering and preening myself, I've been using products that nourish and help to banish any damage that the cold weather has done, ready to whip out my glad rags.
