Back in the day, I was just as crazy about MAC as every other beauty-obsessed teen. I'd spend any extra cash I had on attempting to squeeze the entirety of my local counter into my makeup drawers. Since then, my fixation with the brand has calmed significantly and, as a result of giving other brands some attention, I'm now left with a ton of neglected products. But, there is a handful of gems that I still adore and reach for on the regular. I may get frustrated at the constant flipping and changing of their prices, but MAC will forever remain one of my most-loved brands, so here are my top picks of their products.
Family genetics have blessed me with some persistent, dark circles under my eyes. Even when I've had those crucial, eight hours of sleep and I'm hangover-free, those eye bags still linger. It can be difficult to banish shadows for good, considering they're caused by blood vessels showing through the thin skin, but I've discovered a collection of products that have really helped to reduce the look of them, both short and longer-term.

At this time of year, makeup is all about fresh colours, healthy-looking skin and highlighted features. But, sometimes we aren't graced with a naturally luminous complexion and our skin needs a little help in the radiance department. I've got a small arsenal of products that I whip out whenever my face is looking dull, so I can achieve that much sought-after glow.
After wearing thicker foundations, darker eyeshadows and berry lips for the past, six months, I'm so excited to pare my makeup back and give myself a fresher, glowing look. Spring makeup is all about radiant skin, rosy cheeks and some brighter hues and I've found a great selection of affordable products to deliver just that.
Summer is finally here and it's time to mix things up beauty-wise. To make the transition from Spring to Summer, there's a few makeup trends that I intend to incorporate into my look, including natural-looking, glowing skin and a bright lip.
So, I've kicked my bloggers block, got my act together and I'm back. Despite being quiet online for too many months for my liking, my thirst for anything related to beauty, remained unquenched. As a result, I have an absolute tonne of products stocked up that I need to both rave, and unfortunately, rant about. First up, there's the products I'm currently obsessed with. Spring is finally here and this is one of my favourite seasons for beauty!
So, I thought I'd share with you the contents of my makeup bag, telling you about and showing you what I'm currently using religiously. I often forget about just how great the staples that I have in my various routines are, as I'm always searching for products which might top them. With new products constantly coming out, various collections being released and the sudden surges of hype about another must-have, my poor, little selection of holy grail products get a bit neglected. I'm sure I'm not the only culprit of that, am I?
Highlighters are usually associated with the Summer months, adding luminosity and a glow in the sunshine. But if anything, I think highlighting is more important in Winter. Skin gets more dry and dull, so anything to bring it back to life is welcomed by me. Rather than the creamy formulations that I reach for during the warmer months, I opt for powder highlighters instead.

Most days, I'm quite partial to a touch of highlighter along the top of the cheek, cupid's bow and brow bone. I love anything that helps my skin to look bright and radiant, especially when I'm feeling tired and my complexion is looking dull. When worn during the day, I tend to reach for cream formulas for a softer finish, as powder highlighters can end up looking too chalky and intense for the daytime. After recently sorting through all the cream highlighters hidden in my stash, I thought I'd put together a comparison post for a selection of them.
